How Goldsky generates booking links on the fly for any team, straight from Raycast

Goldsky's external meetings involve people from every function, so availability pages cannot be built in advance. Public routing links on the website handle inbound, and dynamic links generated on the spot, with a Raycast extension the team built, handle everything else.

The Organization: Goldsky is the real-time blockchain data and automation platform for onchain finance, providing indexing, streaming, automation and RPC infrastructure to products built on stablecoins. Its customer meetings pull in people from every function: sales, engineering, support and recruiting, often several of them on the same call.

The Challenge: When the right set of people changes from meeting to meeting, pre-built availability pages do not keep up. Someone would have to create a page for every combination of teammates in advance, or remember everyone's usernames to assemble a link by hand.

The Solution: Two kinds of links. Public routing links on the Goldsky website take inbound requests to the right team. For everything else, the team generates dynamic availability links on the spot, combining whoever needs to be in the room into one booking page without any setup. To make that a few taps rather than a lookup, Goldsky built a Raycast extension that generates the link for any Cal.com team.

Why Cal.com?: Booking links and URL flexibility. Dynamic group links, built from usernames joined with a plus sign, mean a page for any set of people exists the moment someone needs it.

“The username + feature is absolutely killer. We have very dynamic external-meeting needs, involving all sorts of folks from every function. Not having to build those availability pages in advance and just generating them on the fly has been incredibly helpful.”
Hemanth, Goldsky

The Impact: Any teammate can produce the right booking link for any group in seconds, and nobody maintains a library of availability pages.

“We actually have a Raycast extension that lets anyone generate that link for any Cal.com team with a few taps, not having to remember usernames. Very powerful workflow.”
